Expomaritt Exposhipping İstanbul, Türkiye’s leading shipbuilding sub-industry sector event, will be held from February 18–21, 2025, at the İstanbul Expo Center. Informa Markets has announced that online visitor registration is now open for the fair, which in its latest edition brought together nearly 9,000 professionals from over 70 countries, increasing international visitor numbers by 149%. The event will gather all stakeholders of the maritime world under one roof, including shipowners, shipyards, companies involved in ship materials, equipment, outfitting, and technology, as well as shipbuilding sub-industry firms.
Organized biennially by Informa Markets on behalf of the Chamber of Shipping, professionals in the maritime sector interested in following the International Maritime Exhibition Expomaritt Exposhipping İstanbul have started their online registrations. The fair, which is set to host thousands of visitors from Türkiye and abroad at the İstanbul Expo Center, will take place concurrently with the Boat Show.

“Expomaritt Exposhipping İstanbul has become an international platform hosting professionals from not only Türkiye but also from five continents,” said Exhibition Manager Semih Etyemez. He noted that a significant portion of international visitors come from Europe, CIS, and Balkan countries, regions where Türkiye’s maritime sector has strong partnerships. Emphasizing that their scope goes beyond this, Etyemez stated, “With our international visitor outreach efforts, we aim to attract a large number of visitors from major players in the maritime sector, such as China, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates.” He shared that registrations have rapidly started from both domestic and international visitors following the opening of online registration and mentioned their expectation of nearly 10,000 sector professionals for the 18th gathering in February.
