Hiring | VTS Operator – Saudi Arabia
We are seeking a competent and experienced Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) Operator to support the safe, efficient, and orderly movement of vessels within the designated VTS area.
Position Summary
The VTS Operator will be responsible for monitoring vessel traffic, coordinating movements, and ensuring navigational safety in compliance with international maritime regulations, port procedures, and client requirements.
Qualification & Experience Requirements
– Certificate of Competency (COC) II/1 – National
– Valid IALA VTS Certificate (Operator or Supervisor level) issued by an IALA-recognized training center
– Minimum two (2) years of proven experience in VTS operations and port management
– Valid Water Survival Certification in accordance with Saudi Aramco General Instructions, to be maintained throughout the contract period
– Proficient in spoken and written English; Marlin assessment may be required (Chief Mate level)
