Egypt is putting its foot on the gas pedal in a bid to fast-track its Mediterranean energy hub ambitions by holding high-level talks with the U.S.-headquartered energy giant Chevron to secure an accelerated timeline to link its infrastructure to a gas field off the coast of Cyprus.
