Key Policy Highlights:
• Simplified Process – From multi-department approvals to a simple notification system
• Tax Incentives – Individuals: rooftop solar (≤10 kW) deductible up to THB 200,000 (~USD 5,500); Businesses: 150% deduction on certified energy-efficient equipment, machinery, and materials
• Supportive Measures – Low-interest loans, subsidies, one-stop service centers, national installation standards
• Legislative Reform – Citizens guaranteed the right to use clean energy at home
This reform is a major step toward decentralized energy, creating new opportunities for households, businesses, and investors in Thailand’s clean energy transition.
